Wesleyan Christian Football Scores First Win

Wesleyan Christian School football has a good chance to make the Class B-II playoffs, despite an 0-7 start to start the year.

Congrats to the Mustangs, who got their first win of the season over a five-win Arkoma team this past Friday.

WCS beat Arkoma, 38-8 on its senior night. Head coach Blaine Landers said every senior on the roster got a chance to score in the win.

Landers says even though 0-7 was not the start his guys were wanting, he is glad they stuck with it and got their first victory last week.

Up next a road trip to Gans, which is winless in the District. A win over the Grizzlies on Friday would assure WCS a playoff spot in the six-team Class B-II District 4.

Landers talks about what that would mean to his group.

A 7:00 kick from Gans on Friday night.
