Nowata Football reflects on playoff season

The Nowata Ironmen Football program qualified for the playoffs for the first time since 2019 after falling to state powerhouse Rejoice Christian in the first round last Friday. Nowata Head Coach Chance Juby says that making the post-season with this group was always the goal.
Nowata had a large senior class led by A1 District 3 Defensive MVP Jerome Jackson and 3 year starting quarterback Trevor Emberson. Juby commented on what his seniors meant to the program.
Nowata finished the season 3-8 and will look to build upon the season by returning a strong crop of underclassmen starters in Asiah Saxton, Adrian O'Dell and Davion Downing.
