If you missed high school football from over the weekend, only one team remains within shouting distance of Bartlesville.
Pawhuska got a blowout win over Hartshorne. The Huskies will travel to Christian Heritage Academy in Del City on Friday night in round two of the Class A-I postseason.
Bartlesville battled on the road at Putnam City, but the Bruins couldn’t muster enough offense in a 26-14 loss. BHS was up 14-13 at half.
The Bruins end their season at 3-8 with three wins at the end of the regular season. Six of the seven teams to top Bartlesville are still alive in round two of the postseason this weekend. BHS will graduate 13 seniors but only four rotational players over the past month of the season.
We will have wrap ups on Bartlesville, Nowata, Copan, Wesleyan Christian School and Barnsdall this week.
