Playoff week is here for high school football across Northeast Oklahoma.

There are several teams across Osage, Washington and Nowata counties that are still kicking and will have first round games on Friday night:

Bartlesville High is officially the 5-seed out of 6A-II District 2. The Bruins will travel to Putnam City to face the Pirates in the first round. BHS has won a first-round game each of the past two seasons. Putnam City lost to Piedmont on Friday, which bumped the Pirates to the 4-seed on the Bruin side of the bracket.

Bartlesville High Athletic and Activities Director Thad Dilbeck talks about preparing for the postseason after the Bruin win over Capitol Hill on Thursday.

6A-II BRACKET

Meanwhile Nowata is also dancing. The Ironmen lost a heartbreaker to Tonkawa on Friday night, but still qualified for the playoffs as the 4-seed out of A-I District 3. The Ironmen will travel to 1-seed Rejoice Christian in the first round.

A-I BRACKET

Pawhuska is the 2-seed out of that same A-1-3. The Huskies will host Hartshorne in the first round at Ormond Beach Stadium on Friday.

Copan is getting a home playoff game. The Hornets get the Cherokee Chiefs at home on Friday.

B-II BRACKET

Wesleyan Christian School is back in the playoffs for the fifth straight year. Mustangs will go to Covington Douglas as a 4-seed.

Barnsdall blew out Afton on Friday to clench the 4-seed in A-II-4. The Panthers will head to Talihina for the first round. Head coach Kylee Sweeney postgame against Afton.

A-II BRACKET
